When People Try to Explain Life Without God

This reading is for the teen who wants stronger faith and for the teen who is still asking hard questions. It looks at what happens when people try to explain life, right and wrong, the soul, and truth without God. Scripture shows that denying the Creator does not erase His imprint, denying the soul does not make you only chemistry, and denying God’s word does not make His truth disappear. The question is not whether God has left clues. The question is why people look away.

Why Is God the One People Push Against?

Most people do not spend much time arguing against gods they believe are only myths. They do not usually debate Zeus or Apollo. They simply do not care about them.But the God of the Bible is different.People still argue about Him. A lion may kill another animal for food. We do not call the lion evil. The lion is acting like a lion. It follows hunger, instinct, and survival.But human beings are different.If a person kills another person for money, power, anger, or convenience, we do not call it “just survival.” We call it wrong.
